VOCAL ARTIST FELLOWSHIPS

Cultivating The Artistry of the Human Voice

The Lancaster Art Song Society is committed to nurturing vocal artistry through advanced study, collaborative performance, and meaningful artistic mentorship. Through our Vocal Artist Fellowships, singers are invited to refine their technique, deepen their musicianship, and grow in expressive and interpretive understanding. Rooted in the classical tradition and embracing the richness of sacred and secular vocal music, these opportunities foster artistic excellence, thoughtful musicianship, and a lifelong appreciation for the expressive power of the human voice.

Our offerings include Laus Deo Chamber Choir, a selective ensemble for intermediate to advanced singers, and Vocal Study & Lessons, providing individualized instruction.

Laus Deo Chamber Choir : Excellence in singing. Music offered in Praise.

Auditioned ensemble - Intermediate to Advanced Singers

This fellowship offers the serious singer an opportunity for concentrated vocal growth. Participants are selected through an audition process and referral.

Laus Deo is a selective auditioned chamber choir for intermediate to advanced singers who desire to pursue choral music with dedication, artistry, and musical integrity. Sacred music holds an important place in the ensemble’s artistic vision, alongside opportunities to explore the broader richness of choral literature.

These choral members receive intense vocal training, have the opportunity to attend master classes and vocal workshops, as well as attend concerts and voice recitals. All members of Laus Deo are given a tuition scholarship and pay only a small registration fee.

Laus Deo presents concerts at various venues, performs for retirement communities, churches, and also ministers in song to the homebound as well as those who are receiving hospital or hospice care.
